PDO threads are a sterile, single use, polydioxanone biodegradable suture in a cannula. PDO Threads are a type of non-invasive and non-surgical cosmetic treatment that helps reverse the visible signs of aging on the face and neck. Polydioxanone is a common chemical compound that has been used in sutures. PDO threads are thinner than a single strand of hair.  

They build & boost collagen (neocollagenesis), increase blood flow and other structural proteins in the skin. Placing threads under the skin initiates collagen production in the treatment area, which leads to increased volume and skin tightening over time.
